The first edition of the ArchiMinimal Photo Challenge, the photographic team game promoted by ArchiMinimal Photography has successfully concluded. The participants have challenged the development of a very stimulating and complex theme:
Living the City – A journey through Time and Space
Nine participating teams have been working for a month on the assigned theme, with the need to create a portfolio where the power of the storytelling should result from a well-defined sequence of photographs. The qualified Jurors have scrupulously worked to evaluate all the nine submitted works, according to some very specific qualitative guidelines and analytical criteria. All this and much more to show in this first ArchiMinimal Photo Challenge!
According to the Jurors, TEAM 6 has ranked with its work the 8th PLACE among the participants of the ArchiMinimal Photo Challenge.
Team 6 is composed by Tiago Ribeiro de Carvalho che ha saputo guidare i suoi, Muriel Totis, Martine Belmon, Carol Givord, Marc Pélissier .and has participated in the Challenge as“Team Nice”. They have submitted a work consisting of 11 photographs, combined with by the following introductory text:
One of the icon characters of the Côte d’Azur is the retiree who came to settle in the region in search of the sun and a temperate climate. Most of these old people are accompanied by a little dog, the faithful, and sometimes, only companion of the old days.
Our work focused on a “doggy” vision in the city of Nice. For this we have adopted the technical constraint of photographing at a maximum height of 50cm from the ground and discover an unusual perspective of the city to the human eye.
Please have a look to the beautiful work submitted by TEAM 6! Congratulations!
A dog in the city
My name is Aeolus and I am a lonely dog in the city. For a long time I accompanied my old mistress on her walks. And then one day she did not wake up anymore… Since then I am invisible and ignored by all and I walk the streets of Nice in search of a little food and human warmth. Follow me in my daily wanderings…
Our compliments to Team 6 for this valuable achievement!
